1.5 years. that was how long i have left this blog to rot.
until recently,
i think i still an outlet to let out my thoughts and randomness.

i guess many things have changed since 1.5 years ago.
people came, left, re-entered and stayed. i thank them all.

life is really unpredictable.

anyone rembs the show "diva on a dime"?
the one that u see on mobiletv in sbs buses??!!
i thot of that show suddenly and i think im so inspired to go on a cheapo spree..
like buying 10dollar tops that look like 30$.
i guess in singapore it's kinda tough to do so
and the cheapest clothes are already online.
but i still believe in boutique-buys cuz im no usual uk6-8
sometimes for larger pple like myself, id rather spend a lil more and get something i can really wear. not squeezing into. haha

anyway i just bought this conditioner from guardian.

it's for my mum cuz she prefers leave-in conditioners.
it aint expensive and i hope it's good.
considering it's an organic product.. no harmful sulfates etc etc :)

im beginning to turn into an organic person.

i am trying this now. it feels kinda good and i wake up with smooth and plump skin in the morning. i heard rosehip oil is really good for scars and irritable skin conditions... so anyone wanna try? can borrow a few drops from me HAHA
btw it's retailing in watsons at 16++. theres some promo going on now so u might wanna check it out.

i think i need more moisturizers and eyecreams.
hmmmm....
will cover that in my next shopping list :)

"Singapore sentences Ghanaian drug trafficker to death"
just saw this piece of news on yahoo..
i dun understand how come anyone would wanna try messing around with us.
Sg has the strictest law and the whole world knows that we cant be bothered about human rights issue and we hang anyone who does drug trafficking.

actually, im very supportive of hanging.
in fact, im kinda proud that singapore stand firm on this issue.
hanging is not barbaric to me.
i guess it's just a tit for tat considering the harm that person has brought upon others.

if you cant stand hanging, then dun do shit stuffs in singapore.
im sure our people doesnt really like to spend time hanging other people.

dun even talk about human rights.
people spend all their days talking about rights but they dun realise that when everyone is given the liberty to do many things, some poeple will go wild.
so these "wild-lings" shouldnt be given the rights anymore if they didnt care about other pple's rights right?

we have our unique law system.
why should we always follow what other people are doing?
in fact, it doesnt mean that hanging is no good if all other countries are not practising it.
it just means that it's uncommon.

talking about criminals... one of the other crimes i hate most is RAPE.
in my opinion, rapists should not be caned.
they should have special treatment.

we must always source for the root of the problem.
so the problem now is that they cant control their dick.
everyone is born with the freedom to use their dick for good purposes, i dun wanna elaborate with examples on this part.
so thats their rights.
but in the case if they cannot control their dick and did something bad, the rights shld be taken away. so since no one else can control their dicks for them, the only way which i think is the most practical is to...
CHOP IT OFF.
tada! fast and good.
very effective.

the girl lost her chastity and she is marred by this incident for life.
the rapists lost his dick and he is "crippled" for life.

dun make me a minister.
i may implemend this law if im the PM. hahaha

okay im half joking.

it's been a while since i've updated the blog
nothing much to blog about.. except that i took 3 days' leave to shop and laze ard at home :)
been going to town for the past 2 days so today i shall take a break.

was busy with work
and as well as the upcoming launch of an online store
this store is a collaboration between myself and 2 friends
actually i joined them slightly later but then it's still before the first launch.
kinda excited but i guess having 2-3 years of online sales experience,
im quite firm/stable in online retailing now.

but of cuz, stable or not
it all depends on whether the clothes can sell.
while the rest focus on clothes for teenyboppers or topshopians,
our target audience would be young working adults between 20-35.
but it doesnt mean we will just have the typical OL tops and skirts
theres also a little fun element in some of the pieces that's kinda versatile for the weekends.

aiyah dun need to talk so much.
when the blogshop is up and running, i'll advertise again.
Actions speaks louder than words
Pictures paint a thousand words?

okay till then!

一针、一线
穿不回过去。
一步、一步
踏不到未来。

我在此地等待,
只愿有心人指引方向。

it's been a while since i wrote in chinese.
i kinda miss the days when i read 张小娴's books
she was one of my favourite modern chinese writers.

i rekindled with chinese language when i chanced upon Jay chou's new song
"兰亭序" whose chinese lyrics is penned by 方文山
that dude is a talent (i mean the latter, not jay chou)

my favourite phrases in the whole song
"夕阳余晖, 如你的羞怯似醉.
摹本易写, 而墨香不退与你共留余味"
and
"又怎么会, 心事密缝绣花鞋针针怨对.
若花怨蝶, 你会怨着谁"

it's on my playing list and ive been repeating it over and over again
im hooked.

smokin hot

i kept these pictures in my laptop for ages (i cant even remb when)
it's not that i idolise cameron diaz but i thought she loox so good in these dresses
and although i think she aint exactly pretty but shesh just HOT.
she sends out this mysterious yet laidback feeling everytime
and i wanna be like her too
not pretty but just simply stunning.
okay long way to go for me to achieve this

im not even really talking about losing weight and end up like those anorexic kids
it's just about having that ALLURE which is missing in women i see everyday
the current trend is to be skinny and everything will look good.
but i doubt so.
i aim to be just big and beautiful.
i hope i am confident enough to do it haha

i think half a year ago i saw this on F21

i totally digg this outfit :)
but singapore's weather is so cranky and wearing this will prolly give me heatstroke
you know i have this leather bomber jacket from cotton-on..
i think i only wear it when im sure i wun have to sit in non-aircon areas
so pathetic right.
so now it hangs in my wardrobe cuz it's too casual for work and too hot for weekends.

ive been shopping quite a bit lately but no expensive stuffs
and sometimes i wonder am i becoming more and more bimbo?
like talking about shopping and sale all the time...
and when i see someone, i look at his/her dressing first
it's like theres nothing there in my head except clothes, shoes and bags
but i guess since i have to face work for 5days, i just need to loosen up and not use my brains too much. HAHA

on a side note,
i contemplated whether i should sign up for a kickboxing class
but counting the notes i have in my wallet and the amt in my bank
i decided that i prefer to have money.
i shld just stick to the regular jogging sessions on mon/wed/fri
tata

received a letter from ntu requesting for us to complete an online employment survey.
was bored so i decided to do them a favor.
then as i reached the last question..
"...share with us your NTU experience"
i was kinda feeling a little nostalgic.
suddenly i thought of all the simple wonderful moments..

late night runs
stocking up on instant noodles
exams outbreak
mugging in LWN lib
mad rush for seats
CHOPE seats with my notes/barangsbarangs
drinking 40cents teh in the canteen
macdonalds at discounted price
Q-ing up for free goodiebags/exam welfare package
monotonous lecturers which can be pretty amusing
snacking in lectures and library
staying at cadcam lab 24/7
go home at 11pm during FYP
ridhwan, ezzad, hock, anthony, fude and wy to keep me company during 4th yr..

i miss being a student.
and i miss ntu.

it's ironic i know. i rmb i once cursed and hated school to the core.
sighhhhhhhhhhhh
hello to people who are studying, you should feel blessed.
when you start working, you have money but you have no life.

Singapore Combat Engineers Dining-in 2008 @ Shangri La
the big shots were seated in front at this longggg table
and they were facing us.
the BG is sitting right in front of the flag.

if they were dressed in robes, it'll remind me of harry potter dining scene.
long table (vs round table) concept

food was superb.
afterall i paid $150 for this, so of cuz it has to be good.
i was busy eating whenever the food came, cuz i managed to only have 2 shots
but other than my main chicken dish and the tiramisu dessert, we had this crab with pomelo appetizer, scallop cream soup and some bread n butter.
i wished i hate taken a picture of the menu. i suck at describing :(
and i wished i brought a more decent camera.
not this pathetic 2megapixel phone camera. hahaha
